I adore this book. It's my favorite book. I read it. And I read it. And I read it. I have many copies of it.

Did I mention that I love it?

It is nonsense and it is deep. It is funny and it is serious. It appears daft and yet is clever. The characters are cruel and yet you can see their point of view, where they 'are coming from'.

This book is my happy.

Listened to this one instead of reading it, while driving across country. As my kids said, "This is by far the weirdest book I've ever read, but it was a lot of fun to listen to."

My dad read this to me when I was a little girl and it was fun to read it again. I hadn't realised how nonsensical it was (in a good way!). Sweet book

I read it in middle school I believe the same year we were assigned The Diary of Anne Frank and The Hobbit.

It seemed solid at the time, but compared to The Diary of Anne Frank and The Hobbit, one of my favorite books of all time, it didn't really make much of an impact on me. Well written in that Victorian English style, just not a favorite for me.

This book ended as it had began, while I began reading this book in the back of my truck on a warm summer day, Alice ended while returning to reality and I started with escape. It was a crazy world, to say the least. But, I can't deny that Lewis Carroll was quite manipulative with words.

I loved, and still do love, the Alice in Wonderland movies. So there was no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't enjoy the book. It's fantastic, and beautiful, and unbelievably creative. I can't express my love enough for this book and, of course, Lewis Carroll. I can only hope that my children will love this as much as I do.
