This has some cute moments and I do like the speculative set up and the friend group but nothing either that elevated this story into something more. (Could in part be because the audiobook was not for me.)

Surprisingly I really enjoyed this book. I say surprisingly because I almost DNFed this book. It turned out to be so cute. Great ending. Very inclusive. Sweet and wholesome fmc. The friend group was great.  Not sure if this is a romance though more women's fiction either way great KU read.

Cute book, slightly creepy premise but I like it! Think it works and I had fun watching the journey along with all the jealousy. I did find the protagonist a bit rude to her friends and I didn't really see why they hung out with her, it never seemed like she gave them anything in return for all the love and help they give but hey.
