Starting off 2021 with the final volume of a series. Works for me!

The most frustrating aspect of a reviewing a final volume is that there's not a whole lot to say if you want to avoid spoilers. So as much as I want to gush and gush, I'll this as vague as possible.

Here's what I will say: this volume was a perfect conclusion to the series is every way. Yuu and Touko were awesome, the story wrapped up without feeling rushed, the artwork was as incredible as ever, the paneling was great, just all of it was wonderful. And yes, I did cry, because this series has consistently hit me in the feels and this volume was no different. I know that's not much to go off of, but I'm really trying not to spoil this because it's something worth experiencing spoiler-free.

So, final thoughts on this series. This is easily one of if not the best yuri series I've ever read. It treats the relationship with respect, the drama is justified without being ridiculous, the characters are realistic and relatable, and the artwork is beautiful. If you've never read a yuri manga or are looking for a good recommendation, definitely give this series a chance. It's absolutely worth the hype.

I love that it started with their confession and that we got to spend the volume enjoying their relationship m! And older Yuu is so cute!

Very sweet series- wonderful world to slip into during hard times. I liked that both characters worked through some emotional baggage to get closer together.

I decided to binge through the rest of the series so all of my reviews for volume 3-8 will be the same.

This series is just sugar sweet moments mixed with heart warming growth from the characters. I just love all of them so much. And it's not just the main characters we get those great moments from but also the side characters and friendships. I'm so sad it's over and really hope to see these characters again in the future.
