Absolutely speechless! This story was THAT good!!

In this fast paced thriller, we meet Laura, Janie, Mia and Harry Wood. The story mostly takes place at Morris & Wood, a high end advertising agency where Harry Wood is at the core front of our suspenseful tale. We all know what generally happens with women in the workplace and this book goes over that, one woman back from maternity leave and another woman trying to take her job. Tensions rise high and eventually rise into a fire that burns the entire building down. But why and how?

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, I kept waiting for the truth to come out and when it did..just WOWZERS!! The plot, the details of the characters and the smaller stories that all bring this to a thrilling conclusion. I highly recommend this read!

Special thanks to the author, Gallery Books and NetGalley for the advanced readers copy!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to write in my review of this book. Which thank you for the ARC from a giveaway on Goodreads.

I really did enjoy this book. It did what it was supposed to do. I was engrossed in it and could not wait until the end to find out what happened. The bouncing back and forth from the police interviews and the story line helped elevate the suspense. It had a very Big Little Lies feel to it.

All in all I really enjoyed the book until the ending. The ending was a little too rushed and I felt like I was not left with a satisfied feeling at the end which is the only reason I gave the book a 4 star rating rather than a 5 star. I am still planning on checking out this author's other books as I really did enjoy it over all.

This was pretty good up until the reveal, then it kind of fizzled out and the end felt a bit flat.

Not at all what I expected from this book but really enjoyed it! The narrators on audible were fab!

4/5 stars

Three women are suspects to the burning of Morris & Wood. They all have their reasons and their own opportunities, but who did the deed in the end?

After some(aka a lot) of procrastination, I finally finished this book! Anyways, here's my review.

The characters are a weird topic—the main ones(Laura, Janie, and Mia) are amazingly developed in terms of personality, motive, and their current life, though it just stops at some point. Same thing goes for the side characters, some development, then it somehow stops. The book(mainly the ending and interactions) could be much more impactful if there was that little bit more.

Though what you *do* get is pretty nice, and you get a good idea of each character and its fun trying to get who did it.

The writing is honestly amazing—you can feel the drama and feeling in each interaction, and it's fairly descriptive. Its intriguing and keeps you hooked, and I liked the authors approach to sensitive subjects(though I can't say since I feel like I'll accidentally get into spoiler territory :/)
It was also nice going through the three POV's, and you were always just turning the page to get to the next one.

The ending was nice and satisfying, and I really was surprised at what happened. I just felt off in a way I can't explain.

Overall: Three Perfect Liars is a novel with well-developed characters, a gripping plot, and amazing writing, and is one of the better thriller books you can read. Like I said above, this gets a 4/5 stars from me.

Was OK would of liked a better ending
mysterious slow-paced

This book was well written. The characters and their different POVs(3) were really fleshed out and believable. I had no trouble differentiating between them.

I adored the office setting and I did find that the suspense was there enough that I wanted to continue reading. But I found it really fizzled out at the end for me and I was disappointed.

I really love slow burns but this one was extremely repetitive. Not only was nothing happening, the exact same nothing was happening over and over again. For all 3 perspectives.

Laura is completely insufferable, but by the final pages, she somehow managed to become my favourite. I think her character was the strongest and was wasted in the end.

I was in shock when i found out the truth!! This book is written in a brilliant way, which i really admire:)

I love thrillers that center around a plethora of secrets. This one kept me guessing. I was about 80% of the way through before I started to really figure it out, and even then I got some details wrong. The characters had a decent amount of depth, Laura more than anyone. The premise was good. My only problem was that it was slow. The pacing did not feel fast enough for the type of story it was. I enjoyed it but even though I didn’t know what would happen next, I also wasn’t on the edge of my seat to find out. Because of the pacing, this was 3.5 stars for me.

Thank you NetGalley, author, and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
