Three Perfect Liars jumps on the domestic thriller train, which seems to be all the rage these days. I'll admit, some domestic thrillers work for me and some don't. This one does for the most part. The characters, while not always likable, are certainly intriguing, and these women definitely have plenty of lies between them. The story is told from the perspectives of the three women, and it is compelling all the way to the end, which is the only place it falls short. It's not a bad ending, it's just not what I would've expected. It kind of felt a little too easy, I guess. Nevertheless, it was still a solid domestic thriller and definitely worth the read.

Wow. I challenged myself to read this book in a day and I achieved it! It was very gripping and hard to put down. I liked the mystery behind the fire and trying to unpick the women’s stories to find out who could have started the fire. I also liked how it touched on gender inequality in the workplace, alongside the actual storyline of the fire. I didn’t guess the twist and I thought it was clever how the women’s stories all linked in the end. I had lots of fun with this book today, a very good thriller!

The beginning was well done. You're given just enough information to be hooked. Like a classic who done it....it could be anyone.

This was a hard one for me to rate because I honestly really enjoyed most of it. It switches between the three women’s perspectives leading up to the fire, alongside the ongoing police interviews. It made the pacing interesting and I ended up finishing it quickly. But something about the big reveal and ending felt.. expected? There was nothing shocking and it almost felt a chore getting to the end due to its predictability. I would however like to give another Heidi Perks book a go in the future.

Lately it has been difficult for suspense novels to impress me. Three Perfect Liars impressed me. I had no idea where this novel was going to go, which is refreshing when it comes to suspense. Most the time it feels that authors recycle ideas and storylines, but this one had me wondering what was really going on right up until the end.
Three Perfect Liars is told through three different POV, with police interviews sprinkled throughout. Laura, Mia, and Janie were such strong characters and I connected with them all in different ways. They were real women and I enjoyed their complexity. I was empathetic to them, which doesn't happen often for me in a suspense novel. The police interviews were so well done. They gave you just enough without spoiling the story.
I enjoyed this novel immensely and look forward to reading more by [a:Heidi Perks|14765336|Heidi Perks|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png].

I could not put this book down! I was completely gripped from the first chapter.
Three Perfect Liars follows three women. Laura has just returned to Morris & Wood from maternity leave, only to discover that her replacement Mia has been made permanent. Laura feels as though Mia is out to get her and resolves to find out what her intentions are. Meanwhile, Janie has given up a job she loved to support to husband Harry Wood's opening his business in a new location. When the Morris & Wood building is destroyed in a fire, secrets threaten to spill.
Janie, Mia and Laura are all relatable characters, and their stories never felt forced. I especially enjoyed reading from Laura's perspective, as I feel like I would definitely react as she had if I came back to work from maternity leave and felt like all the years of hard work I had done had been forgotten in such a short time.
The way the book was set out was great - having chapters alternating between being from the different women's perspectives and from police questioning over the fire kept me guessing.
I will say that I felt a bit underwhelmed by the ending, however the first 95% of the book was so enjoyable I won't hold it against it!
I would definitely recommend this if you like well-written thrillers that aren't too heavy.
