David Lagercrantz is doing a phenomenal job with this series. He doesn’t write Lisbeth as gritty (and downright cruel) as Steig did but I actually think that might not be a bad thing. As the character grows up and into herself, I like who she’s becoming now.
Brilliantly written, as usual.

Three and a half stars (rounded up). I enjoyed the book and I found it to be extremely readable. I liked the plot and the way that it brought current events into the story line. It was good to see the familiar characters again.
Excellent Swedish crime. It’s now Lagercrantz’s story
So much of past buried deep with numerous secrets. This time digging deeper has brought more shocking revelations and unexpected circumstances. More of Salander was expected but lot of explanation for side stories this time. Even then it turned out out to be as good as the previous books in the series..
Lisbeth Salander is like the weak nerve that a surgeon touched, which in fact has more connections and effects than it seemed.
