My favourite from the series!!
This is the book I've been waiting for! I have had my ups and downs with Meghan's Baseball "Towel" series (super long separations I'm looking at you!) but this book was just what I wanted from this series... it made me laugh, it brought tears to my eyes and the angst was there but not overwhelmingly so. Holt and Harmony balanced each other so perfectly and I loved that Holt was so much more than he seemed at first. Harmony had guts and I loved that she didn't just roll over and do what Holt wanted... this was a hard fought for relationship and it was one I really enjoyed reading about!!

What a way to start 2021!
Loved, loved, loved this book!
Holt - my new book boyfriend.
Such a breath of fresh air from playboy, commitment-phobe male leads. He saw what he wanted (Harmony) and was letting nothing in his way to stop him getting his girl.
Harmony - sassy and not afraid to give as good as she gets, plus is best friend of one of the best side characters I've read for a long time (Priya). Seriously I need to get a Priya in my life!
Harmony has been burnt by athletes in the past, so tries to keep baseball player Holt at an arms length, but he's having none of that. There are some bumps along the way in the shapes of insecurity and jealousy, plus a sneaky surprise towards the end. Yet nothing can stop them from getting their happily ever after.
No cheating. No cliffhanger. HEA guaranteed.

Gah!
Loved this book. Love all of this author’s books but was super glad to see the conflict resolved fairly quickly (meaning it all took place in less than a year). Holt and Harmony are definitely on my favorites list.

She has a strong dislike for all the entitled athletes that make up Brentwood. Of course that makes him want to pursue her even more. They didn't get off on the right foot, what with her obvious loathing, but he was persistent and finally wore her down. This is a Meghan Quinn, book, so there is lots laughter, but of course there is also that scene or two that are heart wrenching. While this can be read as a stand alone, it does take place in the Brentwood Boys world, and actually takes place during the same timeline as book one, The Locker Room, and we get to revisit some of our old friends back in their college days. There is lots of sweet moments and lots of sexual innuendos, a lot of snark and feistiness, and lets not forget all the sexy times. There is also a surprise or two. His character is rather sweet once you get to know him. He is attentive and loyal. She is a strong and independent trying to make it on her own. There is plenty of fun banter between the two. It is written with alternate POVs. There is sexual content that may be deemed suitable for mature readers.
Author Meghan Quinn gives us more of Holt's story and I am here for it.
I loved how Holt & Harmony story comes to play. They have a relationship that was fun, sexy, and full of emotional moments that had me smiling.
I liked how Holt doesn't give up on showing Harmony who he really is.
