I Floved This Book! Just absolutely loved it. When you are cracking up before the end of page 2, you know it’s going to be an awesome read! And The Strike Out from Meghan Quinn starts 2021 off with a freaking bang! Holt and Harmony are just an addicting couple to read about and they were simply wonderful. This is not just a college romance, it is an epic love story that involves trust, loyalty, honesty, commitment and love. It was a witty, emotional, and completely addictive read.

I adored Holt and Harmony’s journey of initial enemies, to friends and then lovers and then so much more. Their snarky banter and bickering. The crazy palpable sexual tension that just kept burning brighter as time went on and their connection blossomed. These two face an epic journey of friendship, self discovery and personal growth. They have many many highs but they also have some nail biting lows. It's rollercoaster of ride that had me feeling all kinds of ways. I laughed, swooned, I teared up. It's a crazy ride. One filled with sweet bromance, crazy friends, lots of hilarious happenings and a few unexpected surprises. Their story is perfectly them in a unconventional and sometimes frustrating way. It's filled with growth, learning and choices that eventually leads them to that HEA that I love so hard.

I was so taken by this story. It was a heartwarming, touching, super sexy, funny and beautiful love story with a HEA that will leave you swooning long after. I cannot get enough of Meghan Quinn’s writing. She delivers yet another flawless story with characters that I have fallen completely in love with.

Couldn’t connect with Harmony at all , she kind of pissed me off when she reamed into her best friend when she was just trying to help.
Holt is not my favorite, didn’t hate him or love him

My favorite

These two are officially my favorite from the series. The love and dedication as they learn about each other, themselves, and how they work as a couple was amazing. Definitely a must read!

And she hits another one out of the park! Meghan Quinn is the MVP of sports romance. Once again we are going back to visit our friends at Brentwood College. These baseball boys have everything going for them, and everything handed to them, at least that’s what Harmony thinks. Until she meets Holt, a funny, flirty outfielder who makes it his mission to be a part of her life.

With all of Meghan’s stories you are going to laugh, you are going to connect with these characters and you will be better for it. Take the roller coaster ride with these two, as they work through everything that is thrown at them. This book has what you need, a great story with lots of steam and plenty of emotion! Don’t miss out!

like 2.5 something about both holt and harmony just frustrated me as individual characters and it felt a bit over the top at times

I absolutely loved this story, it's a sweet slow burn, hate to love romance. The story of Harmony and Holt, it's full of emotions, you will cry, laugh, and be torn for this couple. I'm more used to Meghan Quinn's full-on romcoms, however, I think I love the emotional side of this book and would love to read more in the future like this one, with special twists that have me invested in the story. The audiobook narrated by Connor Crais and Mackenzie Cartwright was simply fantastic, I enjoyed every minute of it as I usually do with all Meghan Quinn's audios.

Not for me

I’m pissed at this book. It started off sooooo good with the banter and wittiness between Holt and Harmony. I thought to myself “oooo this is going to be a good one, I’ll buy it” (even though I have a million free books just begging to be read). However, around the 40% mark I started to get bored. Nothing was really happening apart from him being perfect and then taking things slow. Then this book got super cheesy like I wanted to roll my eyes constantly at the path this book went. Then at 80% this book completely changed and somehow this fun witty book turned into my all time HATED plot. This book tricked me into thinking it was a frenemies type thing and then hits me with THIS awful plot twist. I only tolerate it when I’m warned in a blurb or am reading a trilogy and even then I HATE it.

I hardly ever rate 1 star but I feel hoodwinked and I’m totally returning this book. Thank god Amazon has a good return policy.
