Holt and Harmony... I like that this story didn't have any time gaps like almost all of the previous ones. Holt and Harmony were mature even though they were early 20's to know they were end game for each other. It would have been interesting to see where Holt ended up. I can't remember if he was in the other series that take place later like The Trade or The Change Up.
Holy Holt! I loved this book! It was so awesome to go back to Brentwood, and get another glimpse of the guys when they were in college. Holt and Harmony's relationship had many ups and downs, but I adored every moment of their love story.
Connor Crais and Mackenzie Cartwright do a fabulous job bringing Holt and Harmony to life with their performances. Connor really channels Holt's sarcasm, charm, and quick wit which made me laugh and swoon! Makenzie did an excellent job of portraying Harmony's insecurities, but the show her abilitiy to trust and love too! Both narrators complimented each other very well!
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Meghan Quinn is always a one click author for me. I have enjoyed getting to know all of the #towelbrigade. The Strike Out will make you smile, make you heart ache a little, and leave you with all the feels. I’m looking forward to even more from this author.

I'm not saying I didn't love this book...but I'm not saying I did. I loved the first 60% and then it fell off for me. MQ books seem to be doing this to me a lot lately. I read it and am loving it and then it falls flat the 2nd half. Something happens in this book where I literally thought I had missed something huge. I actually went back and skimmed pages because I thought I missed it, only to find out it was really just glossed over like that!!! I loved Holt and Harmony's chemistry and quick and witty banter. MQ is such an incredible writer, but as of lately leaves me wanting more and not in a good way.
Another member of the towel brigade has stolen my heart! Holt had my attention when he was tied to his phone during Knox and Emory's story and I was thrilled when his own story was announced. Reading it has been smiles and laughter and a surprise I didn't see coming! The whirlwind romance might not be reality, but when Meghan Quinn writes it, it feels so right!!!! I absolutely recommend this book (but definitely read the other towel brigade books too!!!!!
I Floved This Book! Just absolutely loved it. When you are cracking up before the end of page 2, you know it’s going to be an awesome read! And The Strike Out from Meghan Quinn starts 2021 off with a freaking bang! Holt and Harmony are just an addicting couple to read about and they were simply wonderful. This is not just a college romance, it is an epic love story that involves trust, loyalty, honesty, commitment and love. It was a witty, emotional, and completely addictive read.
I adored Holt and Harmony’s journey of initial enemies, to friends and then lovers and then so much more. Their snarky banter and bickering. The crazy palpable sexual tension that just kept burning brighter as time went on and their connection blossomed. These two face an epic journey of friendship, self discovery and personal growth. They have many many highs but they also have some nail biting lows. It's rollercoaster of ride that had me feeling all kinds of ways. I laughed, swooned, I teared up. It's a crazy ride. One filled with sweet bromance, crazy friends, lots of hilarious happenings and a few unexpected surprises. Their story is perfectly them in a unconventional and sometimes frustrating way. It's filled with growth, learning and choices that eventually leads them to that HEA that I love so hard.

I cannot get enough of Meghan Quinn’s writing. She delivers yet another flawless story with characters that I have fallen completely in love with.

⭐️⭐️⭐️. It was an okay book . When it came out i had high expectation but holt and harmony story happened so fast , character doen’t revolve and 2 dates , then love then pregnancy. So it was kind of rush for me though.

I really hope Holt continued with therapy, but I'm glad they worked it out. It almost felt like "not quite instalove", but Holt made up for that by being the most amazing dude.
