It’s a little thin - limited plot - but the voice is great.

This was a great conclusion to the series.

I love how all of the newbies stories wrapped up, and this is definitely a series I’ll be returning to in the future.

Jason Reynolds gives middle grade readers what they want, but has been lacking in a lot of fiction for some time. He’s authentic, engaging, and funny — with nothing but love and respect for his adolescent readers.

It's official. Jason Reynolds is my favorite author of the last decade. There's a rhythm to his character's inner monologues that is unmatched. And the love he shows for his perfectly flawed characters? There are no words to describe it.

Ghost is still my favorite (so far - I have Sunny up next!), yet this one is my second favorite of this series. I love how "integrity" came into play, and it seemed as if some good lessons will stick after kids read this one. If you've read Ghost, you know the kids will eat this one up, too.
