Agatha is increasingly foul-mouthed and vulgar. I'm reading these because I want to see how it all ends but they are quite predictable.

Better, but not great
Definitely better than the last few, but making the last chapter the epilogue before even wrapping the case up is just sloppy. It's an excuse to wrap everything up in a few choppy paragraphs instead of doing it properly. Plus, none of the solely written Agatha Raisin books had epilogues, so the change is jarring.

I love Agatha Raisin stories, but part of me wondered how much book there would be if I were to turn it into a word document and remove all the repetitive things from it, like "Agatha's small, bearlike eyes" or any time she talks about gaining weight from one meal, or she and Charles think about marrying each other but decide it isn't the best idea, or Agatha falls in love and the person is horrible, or James meets a new woman, or Charles is about to marry for money, or Agatha gets kidnapped.
That said, this one felt a little disjointed towards the end. That last chapter was a whole lot of whaaaaaaat?

This was one of my favorites in the series so far. Agatha continues to make me laugh at her flawed and familiar humanity, while I try to figure out whodunit. These characters were so odd and entertaining. I am dreading the end of this series....
