Terry Pratchett was a master of puns and comedy in general. Every encounter with him is a delight.

Often hard to understand, but fun when I know what's going on.

Might be one of my favourite Discworld books!

I'll never be disappointed every time I finish a Terry Pratchett book ! No matter how slowly it builds up , it's always worth it in the end! I'm in love with Death ! Okay that sounds wrong . I'm in love with Death's character . Definitely going to read more of these stories .

God I loved this book. It’s no surprise that I absolutely loved another Discworld book. But this one really stands out as one of the most interesting and introspective books in the series. This book put me through a full range of emotions. I laughed out loud at multiple points in this book. There were sections in here so touching it made me want to cry. The character of Death might be my favorite fantasy book character of all time. His outlook on life as the one who is at the end of all lives is incredibly insightful. Life and happiness come from people. “There is no hope but us. There is no mercy but us. There is no justice. There is just us.” We have one life and it’s up to us to make it worth it. This book was insightful and thought provoking. This will be one that sticks with me for awhile. Easily my second favorite Discworld book (Small Gods still takes that title) and my favorite book of the year so far.

Death gets the pink slip.
