This book has perhaps altered my entire perception of death, both as an entity with feelings, and as a cessation of life. I will be ready to face the inevitable with chess-board in hand.

What can the harvest hope for, if not for the care of the reaper man?

If imagining how Death shouts all the time was hard then I don't know how to describe the difficulty of understanding how Mouse Death squeaks.

Very funny and great plot. Love the Death series as they are such a great character. Didn't love this one as much as Mort but still a very good read.

This one was so good I stayed up way too late finishing it. It's got Death and zombies and snow globes and shopping carts (trolleys). It is mostly about the death of Death, and everything that could go wrong--or perhaps right?--in such circumstances.
