It took a LONG time to get going but the last third of the book is good.

I really enjoyed this book - I did figure it out before the end but the suspense kept me going. President Duncan is a true patriot and the plot in this book was well written.

For a 500+ page book that could easily serve as a doorstop, it's a fast and engaging read.

It takes a good 150 pages to get moving, but when it does it's a fast paced exciting thriller.
Unfortunately, I could do without the last chapter which is pretty much a manifesto for political office. (And does the very American thing of taking all the credit for something that involved people from multiple countries)

It was ok, thought it dragged a bit in the beginning. The last third of the book went fast. Not your normal-paced Patterson.

I think we have very different definitions of “missing”.
This book had me for a second and lost me so fast.

Overall an enjoyable entertainment read. I had a hard time putting it down as the plot was thickening. A little politically-philosophical in places (is that you, Bill?) but not enough to spoil the story.
