I left this book just needing more. In the sense, that it lacked the deeper connection that I needed to resonant with the characters. It had the premise of a great story but I feel like it needed more time to cook and more character development to really feel all the feels. Definitely likeable characters in this book, just wish they unpacked them a bit more so we got to know their backgrounds better.

This book was so beautiful. I am normally a slow reader and I refused to put this down. I read it in two days. It's about a girl who wants to die and a man that craves pain. Together can they save them self? It's a gorgeous love story. I saw a scene coming but man did I cry. And I'm not talking tears streaming down the face but the full blown cry. It was amazing how she made me fall in love with these characters.
This is one of the first books I've read by this author and im hooked. The spice was just right it wasn't the entire book.
