I honestly thought I was going to enjoy this because it sounded really emotional. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t connect with the characters at all because they felt a little immature to me. And the ending just felt so random. The only character I actually liked was Lanston, and well... we know what happened to him.

I think I need a minute to debrief after this one, I just feel like I’ve been on an emotional roller coaster. I’m still trying to figure out what exactly this genre was there’s spice, but also dark romance, slasher/thriller vibes, contemporary romance?
I couldn’t figure out which one, let alone where this storyline was going. For the trigger warnings in the beginning of this book i thought this book would have some pretty serious themes in it but I don’t think it did unless I’m just fucked up in the head?? Obviously the main issue is the self harming/constant talking about wanting to die and suicide but then I was also a bit triggered with Wynn and Liam at first cause there were toxic AF but then I switched real fast to rooting for them and kinda lowkey wanting there relationship to work.
It did move a bit to fast paced for me how quickly they went from hating one another so being in love after 4 weeks that gave me a bit of an ick.
But I genuinely had no idea where this book was going which kept me reading and the ending had no right to be so darn sad, I just wanted that happy ending but they did me dirty!!
Either all I still found this a good read!
