How very underwhelming.
The writing was poor and I found it came across quite juvenile. The whole thing was cringe and none of the character intentions ever really made sense or seemed believable. The characters are supposed to be in their late twenties aswell but the whole time it felt like I was reading about young teenagers. The dialogue was clunky and have i mentioned cringe?? It felt like poorly written fanfic but worse *Welp*
It got plus points for a morbid ending as I like not having happily ever afters, thats about it lol.

I really loved the first 50% of this book, Although I enjoyed the remainder I felt it was bizarre, out of place and rushed. I wanted more character development and back story to make the twists hurt a bit more, I also think if there was more detail it wouldn't be so weird that it changes to a thriller all of the sudden towards the end. Just a few to many concepts shoved together in a small book.

I’m completely partial to K.M. Moronova as she is one of my absolute favorite authors but this book was such a good balance of dark and mystery. It captures dark thoughts in a light that I haven’t seen before and I just absolutely adore it.
