This book is exceptional.
I adored the three main characters, and I had moments that truly resonated with me.
There is no way to accurately describe to someone who has never experienced deep depression. There is not a way to make someone understand who has never felt it, yet this book is a great way to start.
This is intricately woven together, and beautifully done.
It is the most gut wrenching ending you will never see coming.

My friend has been recommending me to read this one for months. I FINALLY DID IT.
I don't regret it. I greatly enjoyed it personally. Yes, it's unorthodox and not what you would generally find in an institution. But I do find that I can relate to the story and the characters. I feel like I have been seen and heard while reading this. I fell deeply in love with the characters Liam, Lanston and our resident FMC Wynn. This book is filled with trauma, the loss of hope, the need for healing, and wanting the courage to continue on. Everyone is broken from something. Everyone has a story. This book really made me think back to reality in the aspects of I've been there, I know people who have been there. I have SHARED SOME OF THESE SAME THOUGHTS. I too once had no hope, but wanted the courage to continue on. If you want a book that is heart wrenching in so many ways this is definitely a read for that. I recommend reading the trigger warnings. These characters are all deeply ill in numerous ways. Some do not know how to cope.
This book is beautiful, morbidly fascinating, and so relatable that I'm so happy that it's sitting on my bookshelf.
Some quotes that I loved. I can't list them all, I have so many.
"—wait for the weight of the world to pass. Wait until the tremors that wrack through your skull drift into the depths again. Wait until the sun rises, and the light makes you feel a little less pointless.”
“You let me know and I’ll hold you until the darkness fades.”
“I saw a young woman. A confused little flower trying to bloom in the daylight when you were always meant to thrive beneath the stars, unlike those around you. You’ve wilted enough for the world. Don’t you think?”
“Liam?” “Yeah?” “If I’m tragic, what does that make you?” I think about that for a second. “Cruel.”
“I’m not sane either, Wynn. You’re not alone in this castle of tragedy.”
I like that about rainy days. The weight makes me feel like it’s okay to be down. No one judges you if you’re sad on a rainy day.

I'm not going to lie I was terrified to read this book. The number of tears I saw this one bring out mortified me in ways I wasn't prepared to feel. With that being said I loved this book. I really loved how the mental health played a major role and showed the realness of it. This may be fiction, but I felt this on a personal level. I could see why so many tears were spilled. This book can definitely cause some heartache. The friendship between Wynn, Liam and Lanston was beyond special and I will cherish these characters for ages.
Not ashamed to say this is one of the best books I’ve read in a while, the raw emotion throughout was really well written and I thoroughly enjoyed this book ❤️
So I wasn’t sure what I was expecting but this author, she is now one of my all time favorites I love her writing style. This book was dark and a little too relatable on an emotional level but I was here for it. If you love dark themes with a twist and some spice, this is the book for you. I cried hard at the end I wasn’t expecting it she got me. This will be one of those books I think back on frequently. ❤️

Just serve my heart on a platter with a side of emotional damage 😭 I devoured this book and fell in love with three MCs. It's tragic and beautiful at the same time. I love how even with the dark theme and story K.M Moronova was able to weave in moments of beauty, because that is life. There is no darkness without light. I just wish this book was a little longer so we could experience more character development to go along with the story.
