The story was nice, the writing style was good and the characters well developed. Adeline was a bit too forgiving and she was always the one running after Edmond so that was a minus. But I think what truly detracted my enjoyment of the story was Edmnond himself. I wanted to hit him with a frying pan way too often and for too much time in the book for me to truly enjoy their love story. Not that he didn't have his reason, it just didn't make it any less annoying or justify his behavior.
Overall tough, I think the author was good, she developed their relationship well it just wasn't really for me.

Loved this, super sweet and well written. I liked the problems and tortures of the Duke.
ALSO I love whenever there are kids and they're well written. I love seeing the interaction between the kids and the MCs, especially the MC who isn't the parent.
