I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!
It was just really good. I Loved that Edmond care for his first wife even after death even though he also felt more guilt then anything because she died during child birth and felt it was his fault because he wanted a boy. I am glad that he was able to love Adeline. I hate that he left her for few months when she was pregnant because he was so afraid of losing her although I am glad he saw reason and went back to her. I Loved his daughters from his previous marriage they were so cute.
I SO WANTED MORE OF BOTH ADELINE AND EDMOND

This book was good. Adel is being forced to marry a man she hates so to take control of her future she decides her will orchestra and be caught in a compromising position with a man she feels comfortable marrying. Unfortunately, she is told the wrong room and ends up in the bed of the Duke of Wolverton. Edmond is looking for a wife to be a mother to his daughters and he doesn't care to form into a traditional marriage., But Edmond isn't prepared for the attraction he has to his new wife.
This book is a very classically structured historical romance. I liked the two main characters and their chemistry together. I found it a bit slowing in the middle, but the emotional situation at the end really gave this book some heart. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a traditional historical romance.

This was a fun historical romance! I loved the chemistry between Edmund and Adeline. The duke was very stubborn though and i got frustrated with him at times! Overall marvelous story though and I loved listening along!

Insanely quick read. Overall, just kinda mid. I didn't love the characters, I didn't hate them. The writing was not great, but it did the job. I wouldn't say I necessarily liked it, but it didn't piss me off either. Totally passable, completely unexceptional.

I really enjoyed this Historical. It was romantic, emotional and a satisfying story.
