A small Japanese town experiences a series of horrifying events, all related in same way to spirals. Yeah, it sounds stupid, and in a way it is. That being said, I found I LOVED this series! Incredibly horrifying, sometimes cheesy, but always suspenseful and intense. Junji Ito's images are perfectly grotesque - many will still with me for the rest of my life! If you are big fan of horror, this is an absolute MUST-READ!!!

This book, recommended to me by my nephew who is an avid reader and Manga book lover, was not my typical book choice or genre. However, I am always looking to expand my horizons and sample all sorts. This Japanese graphic novel is a horror novel in which takes place in Japan. The main character, a teenage girl and her boyfriend believe their town is cursed by the spiral shape. The book felt like a Stephen King novel- only a graphic novel. I enjoyed reading a change from my typical book and kudos to my nephew for introducing it to me :). I will definitely read more Japanese graphic novels!

Just as good as The Ring and equally as creepy. The ending chapter offered one of the most disturbing images of entire book and kept suspense going to the last.
