If you are looking for full-on erotica do not read this. If you are looking for a good retelling of the myth of Hades and Persephone with a decent amount of good spicey scenes then this is the book for you. The author does a good job of showing enthusiastic consent and how that content can add to sex in the book not detract from it.

I listened to the audio book, and the narrators just did not do it for me. All smut no plot, but still well written.

It was a lot better than I was expecting! The spice was good but there was a bit of plot, but there were places where there could have been so much more character development and plot twists that just didn’t happen. A nice quick read.

I didn't really care for it. If you're into mafia or mafia-adjacent stories, this is for you. There is no fantastical element aside from using the original source material names.
Truthfully, I found the spice underwhelming after reading the Wicked Villains series.
