I didn’t love this to begin with, but there was something about it that made me keep going and I’m so glad I did! By the end I was truly invested in the outcome of the main characters, and was not left disappointed.

I listened to this instead of physically reading it. I enjoyed the story, the resilience of the main character, the prose and setting. There were interesting twists and turns, things I didn't see coming (things I saw coming from a mile away). But the ENDING?! WAS GARBAGE. I'm still so mad that after ALL OF THAT, the ending is a snub at a party. Nah.

Absolutely a joy to read. A great heroing story of a young woman fighting against a wrongful situation. This woman finds great strength, I never saw the idea of revenge in such away. Although I still don't like the idea of revenge, it's so beautifully written it makes it look beautiful - an no one's truly hurt by it, except our heroine.
But despite her pain she's comes out strong and on top of the world, far more that those who hurt her.
I will say its a slow read through the first 100 pages or so. If you can get passed that, the rest of the story happens it such a perfect way, well worth the finish.

I am not normally into thrillers. On one hand the scene and plot of this book entranced me and is haunting my dreams. On the other I spent the whole book screaming at the main character to make any other decision.
DNF at 40 percent. Not enough happening to keep me interested.
