Got the audiobook, read by the author herself. It's a fantastic and hilarious, yet realistic look into a life with mental illnesses - that's right, plural. Jenny has her hands full with herself before she even gets started, but by the time I was done, I just wanted to meet this hilarious woman. She gives you a glimpse into not only mental illness itself and coping with it, but her viewpoint of her husband is great as well. I can't wait to read her first book. You won't regret jumping into this one.

A collection of essays with some funny moments and a few bits of wisdom is my rather uninspired description of this book. I admire and respect Ms. Lawson’s candidness to share some of the inner battles she struggles to overcome. Mixed in with my admiration is the thought that it must be exhausting to be her and to live with her! Not because she has pain and is depressed but when she tackles life with her bizarre and fantastical sense of humor. I just can’t even imagine that on a daily basis.
I think that must be my anxiety speaking. I love to laugh and love spontaneous actions but to aspire to chaos? Ugh, I shudder to think! But maybe she doesn’t aspire to create chaos, maybe she is chaos incarnate? I think she would find coolness in that.

The cover is the best part. There were some LOL moments but I found myself skimming at the end.

Really enjoyed it, she's crazing in all the best ways that might be as a result of the life she's lived and mental diagnoses but could just as much be her just being a really interesting person who grabs life at every chance she gets. Inspiring stories and have found a love of taxidermy I never thought I would....

This book seemed much more serious than Let's Pretend this Never Happened but I still enjoyed it. I am always happy to hear that I'm not the only one who thinks or feels certain things.
I explained the spoon theory to a coworker today and that allowed us to launch a whole conversation about mental health and how hard it is to deal with. I can tell that we're going to start telling each other how many spoons we have each day. (By rough estimate of course. Does anyone actually know how many they have until they're at a critical low?)
Overall a book I'd like to come back to in a year just to check in with myself.
