Didn’t hold interest. Repetive

I read this just at the perfect time. My mom has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. A brain disease. I have migraines. My sister had epilepsy. All are diseases not seen on the outside, just like many mental illnesses that people struggle with every single day.

I felt like a normal person listening to this book. I feel like one still because of this book.

I strongly encourage all to listen to this book. I laughed out loud many times in my car while driving in the last couple of weeks. I hope you enjoy it too!

I really wanted to like this book, but I just couldn’t. I thought it was going to have more applicable teachings or other wisdom I could apply to my own life.  But the erratic writing style gave me whiplash and the husband character irritated me.

Furiously Happy will leave you furiously happy. This book is for anyone who wants to laugh and be proud of who they are. The author of Furiously Happy, Jenny Lawson, is brave, loving, eccentric, and battles mental illness. Lawson also narrates this audiobook and it’s for anyone who experiences mental illness or has a friend or family member that does. Lawson shows readers that even though experiencing anxiety and depression at times feels unmanageable, there will also be times of pure joy and those are the times to relish. Those are the times to live in the moment and feel everything wonderful that there is about being happy. Furiously Happy will leave you laughing, especially with the audiobook being narrated by Jenny Lawson, and appreciating all of the wonderful moments that life has to offer.

Never has a book made me laugh, think, and feel normal then Furiously Happy. When I say feel normal I mean not alone in my depression, isolation, ADD and inability to accomplish more then one thing a day without feeling overwhelmed! I have highlighted and shared more quotes from Furiously Happy then any other book I've read in a long time.

The audio book is amazing because her own voice is perfect. The paperback has the greatest pictures. Use both together.
