I had to force myself to finish this book. It needed editing like crazy. The story itself was nice but it’s hard to get into it when every other sentence has an error. Maybe if the author send this to an editor and republished I’d give it another try. Until then, I’ll pass.

So, the concept of this book was good. But a few things threw me. The BFF aspect, they didn't even seem like that close of friends. The friendship seemed forced and didn't have good banter. The characters in this book were a bit inconsistent in how they acted, not in a character growth kind of way, but in a confusing to read way. The story wrapped up a bit weird and just seemed to set up for the bff's book.

This book and its plot twists! It needs to have cry warnings before they come because holy wow. This book was beautifully written and unapologetically heartbreaking and heart saving.
