I bought this book used at a thrift store and I love it! It is so convenient to have all seven books in one place. I love Lewis's stories and the world he created in his books. His biblical allusions are present but do not scream in your face of religion. I would recommend these books to almost anyone. :)

This chronicles was basically retelling story of bible stories but with fantasy characters and children friendly version.

Wish I'd read this when I was younger. The Silver Chair was definitely my favorite. I'm not a Christian, but I have to say, I found the ending to be slightly disturbing. Am I the only one that feels this way?

Lewis is a classic that everyone should have read. His autobiographical works and sermons are awesome, too. But I love the chronicles for their narration. They are so emotional and you naturally join in on the kids journeys.
these tales are not only for kids, but every age.
I love them more with every read I give them!

An inspiring story about coming out of the closet.

The Magician's Nephew: 4. Very classic tropes, but done in an inventive way.

The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe: 5. Wonderful. So beautifully fantastic.

The Horse and His Boy: 5. Again, fantastic and enthralling.

Prince Caspian: 4.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader: 5. Also fantastic, although one could see a great deal more Christian imagery in this one.

The Silver Chair: 3. I quite favored Puddleglum---such a good character. This one began to lay it on a bit thick with the Christian imagery.

The Last Battle: 2. If I wanted to read Revelation, I would read Revelation. A somewhat overdone and heavily-handed story, with very little in the way of compelling characters or interesting story. It felt very slapdash.
