A must read for readers of fantasy and a reference for writers. Should be a part of everyone's childhood.

The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis can only be described as an attempt by a man to share a story of truth. Truth in his faith via the avenue of storytelling. The characters, landscapes, and events that occur in all 7 books contribute to this epic world from the mind of Lewis. I enjoyed The magicians Nephew the most followed by The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. My favorite character is probably Eustace and the transformation that he undertook. He was disposed but later liked. Lewis handled that transition seamlessly. The religious themes in this series are unavoidable, but to me I came to appreciate this story for what it is. The attempt of a man to relay faith to his "Lucy". I think he did an excellent job in a world that just might make you think, could Narnia be real? How does having faith like that of a child come into play? Lewis raises more questions than he answer, but I'm ok with that in the end. Overall, an excellent series that I'm glad to have read and can now talk about with Christians and non-Christians.

I loved the Chronicles of Narnia! They are great stories and the message behind these fictional works is even better.

Love the book. Did not like the “chronology of Narnia” order instead of publication order in this printing.

A timeless classic that intertwines a religious background with an amazing adventure of three children.

Toujours aussi magnifique après toute ces années. J'ai d'abord vu les films en étant petite puis lu les livres

Anyone have a favorite hardcover narnia edition? I'm thinking of picking up this one for the family library but am torn between it and another.
