I admit that it took me a long time to get through the entire thing. I struggled through it, not because I could not read it, but because I found it so boring through certian parts that i would give up entirerly.
However, that was five years ago, and I finnaly re-read it. I still wallowed through some parts, but, for the most part, it was a timeless classic that deserves some applause. It's a great story(ies?)written years ago that brings a modern-day reader into late England, and then a magical world of Narnia. Of course, though, it is full of problems.
So, if you were like me, and you had to struggle through the volumes, then I reccomend re-reading it...just to enjoy the magic of Narnia and the world where children play.

oof—tbh i couldn’t get through all seven stories i got through three and realized i hated them... too childish for me i guess

Moralistic drivel

Reading this so far after I originally read it (or more accurately had it read to me) was incredible. Still a fantastic book series, even though I do think it peaks at Prince Caspian.

Boring

My sister, Sue, gave me this book for Christmas 2005. I read it while I was pregant with my son. And I will probably read it to him when he is older.
The movie that recently came out, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe is just one of the 9 stories in the book. I liked the story of Prince Caspian before I watched a British version of it on video. They really cheesed it up. The new version is out now and looks okay- and I will probably check it out if I see it at the library.
Now that I think of it, I never really finished the last of the Chronicles of Narnia so I'll count it as on my currently-reading list.

Una buena recopilación de todos los libros que tuve el placer de leer gracias a la edición de lujo que me regalaron mis amigos Jon, Adriano y Kike!!

Everyone should read these stories once in their lifetime

I spent the whole day thinking of what to write for my review and I have nothing, nada.
They were all amazing, I know it took me a while to finish but once I put my other reads aside and focused on this one, I couldn't get enough
The allegories, so artfully hidden yet not
I am not familiar with most of the bible stories, okay almost all of them since I am not Christian but the obvious one like the lion, the witch and the wardrobe, the magician's nephew and the last battle were very well written and I really enjoyed them, they were religious without being religious

yeah anyway love it
