Really interesting to read these books as an adult and see the intense religious symbolism that permeates them all. However, the characters are charming and definitely remind me of myself as a kid. The adventures that they have and their willingness to believe in good over evil is great, and C.S. Lewis does a wonderful job of making the books interesting, but serious, as well.

Seguno melhor livro de fantasia do século XX, só perde para O Senhor dos Anéis. Desculpa aí, Lewis!

All books were wonderful.

I mean, I knew that Aslan was lion Jesus but this went way deeper than I thought

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is another of my favorite books of all time.

this series of books was kind of horrendous, with the exception of the first book "The Magician's Nephew"

I've started reading The Chronicles of Narnia to Nia (age 7). We're working our way through this new reading order edition. But reading them in that order was quite a mistake.

This edition should be taken with a large grain of salt because of the strange reading order.

See the Wiki for all the reasons why.
