What can I say, I love these books. Some slightly more than others, but they're just so good.

The horse and his boy is probably my favorite!

This is a Long book made up of all the Narnia stories. It is a little tough to get into but well worth it, especially if you are fond of fantasy works.

Benefits of the audiobook version - fun background noises like birds chirping, water rushing and animal noises that really bring it to life! You also skip over a lot of the questionable racism and “1950s” writing.
Negatives -Because there isn’t a narrator, you end up having a lot of the characters needing to narrate what they’re seeing which is tiresome (Lucy walking in for the first time in LWW was particularly annoying ha). It’s also abridged so there isn’t much detail in the battle scenes, just fighting noises so it can be hard to keep up with what’s happening to the characters (particularly obvious in Prince Caspian and The Last Battle). I’ll read the books to my daughter when she’s old enough to enjoy them, although might be saving The Last Battle for a bit longer since it’s so dark!

This is the second time I've read the series...the third time I've read The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe...it's interesting the things I've picked up on this time around that I just didn't pay attention to before. And I'm not talking the obvious Christian spin...I'm talking about the geographic layout of Narnia and the way the stories intertwine. So far I've finished the first 3 books (if you're reading chronologically) and I'm far more impressed this time around than I was a couple of years ago.

I made it through The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and I have to take a breather. It's so much easier to read the HP books all in a row...these just get tiresome after a while.

A lot of books but definatly worth it. Most books are of different people but, READ THEM IN ORDER!!

Another "who doesn't love this series" kind of book . . .

One of my favorite childhood books

The Horse and His Boy is my favorite of the series, and In general I enjoyed the first 4-5 books more than the last 3.
