Short haunting, and immersive in setting and tone. Everything exists in extremes, extreme devotion, extreme love, extreme tragedy, emotions similarly are heightened in the story. All of that builds a feeling of a world, were horror is equal only to fear.

Mi ha ricordato molto Cime Tempestose. Un chiaro esempio di come queste ghost stories raccontino le vicende di molte donne, vittime di soprusi patriarcali da parte di padri e mariti, dalle passioni represse e che hanno a che fare con agghiaccianti fantasmi.
