I’m glad that I continued on because this story is the most swoon-worthy dreamy billionaire romance I’ve read. As hard as it is to get past some devastating pasts that are shared I continued on heartbroken and angry having a hate hate hate and love love love relationship with this story!!
This is truly an incredible love story you will not regret reading, the best I’ve read in a very long time.

This was a relatively quick read and had some fun elements to it, however, I did struggle with this one. I found the story rushed, so it was hard to believe the progression of the relationship between Liam and Isla, as well as the initial tension between them. Some points felt dragged out just for the sake of it, and overall it just fell a little flat for me. If you enjoy billionaire romances, exotic getaways, with a side of spice, then you may want to give this one a read, unfortunately, it just wasn't for me.

I had to DNF this book. I dragged on reading this. Spice was good (hence 2 stars). Within hours MMC feelings changed from hatred to head over heels “in love” without explanation. FMC was childish and I did not like her inner dialogue. I stopped reading with 7 chapters left.
I loved their story! Liam’s definitely a alphahole until he meets his match with the fiery isla. Isla has a secret that is tormenting her .Liam swoops in to save her by using his status to help isla with her passion. These two with their constant back and forth and their steamy scenes could not let me stop listening to the audiobook. Once isla secret is out she gets so much love and support from everyone . I really enjoyed this audiobook . The narrators as always do an exceptional job with these characters. They make the story come to life even more .
This was the first L Steele book I have read and I will be now reading everything written.
This was a rollercoaster of a book, I loved their banter and the sass between them - Isla isn’t a woman who will be told what to do. Their chemistry was hot, hot, hot !
Liam is all alpha, cocky and demanding but oh so handsome and sexy and everything a girl wants. He falls for Isla and only wants to care for her and make her happy. I found his love for her very emotional and Isla who is a strong and sassy woman feels she is not worthy of his love.
We don’t find out till quite late on in the book the reason for her feeling so unworthy of him and he loves her straight up an nothing and no one will stop him.
I loved this one, perfect blend of banter and spice. Get it read cause it’s great.

They are opposites, and the push/pull between them is their foreplay. They have fiery chemistry and passion, only to have Isla run afterwards. Liam wants her, and will do whatever it takes to win her over. But they both have secrets they fight hard to keep. When the truth finally comes out, will it be too much, making them walk away, breaking both their hearts? This is an emotional, heart pounding story that sizzles. Shane East, and Roxy Isles are perfect as Liam and Isla making them clear in my mind as they bring them to life. Their performances were passionate, alluring, and so authentic and sensitive during several heartbreaking scenes. I was completely captivated as they brought this emotional and steamy story to life.

An amazing story. Liam is an alphahole and like the other men of the series he knows it and is proud of it. But as the story goes we really get to see him. Some may be him transforming as well as our view of him. Isla is the one woman that stands up to him. But when your a billionaire you hold all the cards or so you think. They both will surprise you and boy are the twists interesting. And the scenes do get pretty damn hot too. I love how almost all the characters from the other stories show up in this one, especially the ladies. It really makes them all into one messed up family (by blood and by choice).
