Meh, I wanted more werewolf. Heavy on familial ties and existential crisis of being a werewolf. Had some funny moments, dialog felt natural. Everyone seems to smoke, which i realize I don’t read a lot in books. A lot of it felt predictable.

I'm not usually one for a romance plot, but when it's wrapped up in a werewolf tale with plenty of dark humour, I can get on board! I loved Rory's wry and funny POV and the relationship with her sister. It felt like an exploration of trauma and female rage woven into an almost cozy-feeling horror "lite" story. There is a little bit of body horror though, so check trigger warnings for this one!

This was a fun different take on a werewolf story. I really liked the misdirection it worked really well and kept me on my toes guessing! I appreciate that it the “villain” was not easily guessed and only revealed when the author wanted you to know with the tidbits that finally gave a clue, but was still were subtle.

Such Sharp Teeth is about family, trauma, personal development, and loving yourself even when things get ugly and scary.
This book was so fun to read. A quirky, dark paranormal romance. The main character, Rory, is hilarious, witty and sarcastic. The dynamic Rory and her sister, Scarlett have reminded me a lot of me and my sister. While this is labeled as a horror book, there was mild gore, but nothing majorly grotesque. I could’ve used another 50-100 pages as I felt it ended very abruptly.
