If I had to choose one acronym to describe this book it would be OTTâlike on a scale of, âHo-humâ to âWTF!,â this would be a solid, âSeriously? Seriously!â
Now, as someone who grew up on a steady diet of âThe Naked Gun,â âSpaceballsâ and âMr. Bean,â I have a healthy appreciation of the ridiculous, so I really enjoyed âSomething Fabulous.â But what Iâve come to learn from reading a number of Mr. Hallâs works, is that the man writes broadly. He seems to enjoy tackling all the genres, and in my opinion, does it supremely well. Just donât pick this up expecting âGlitterlandâ or even âBoyfriend Material.â Youâll be disappointed if you do.
But if you find yourself in the mood for a little bit of cotton candy fluff, this might be your cup of tea, or, to extend the saccharine metaphor, your raspberry-chocolate cocoa with marshmallow hearts.

Loved it. Great narration. Smooth story. Set in an idealistic open minded, 1800s setting. Mmc is traditional character basically being thrust into 2025 ideals. But in the 1800s. It was good. Just trust me.
