Couldn’t read about that subject matter right now- control

Note: My reviews are more like personal notes.

I spent a long time hating Grace and her stupidity. Perhaps this was because she repeatedly failed to see Millie’s brilliance. Children with special needs are VERY, VERY INTELLIGENT. I should know. However, overall, I had to give the book 4 stars because it kept me riveted and because of Millie. Love that girl!!

Excellent psychological thriller! Just couldn’t stop reading cause I was dying to know the whole story.
dark mysterious tense fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

This book was just...meh. It was fairly predictable and there was something lacking in the story/writing.

SpoilerYeah, I don't want to read about dogs dying horrible deaths. And honestly, this whole book is just torture porn.

This booked is f*cked up, only read if you want bad dreams. Great if you want to be scared though

This was quite a bit better than the last psychological thriller that I read, so I’ll give it that. This doesn’t follow the traditional “twisty” route that some in the genre do, and I appreciated that I didn’t have to be disappointed by either a lackluster turn, or a twist I saw coming. Once you get into the book, you pretty much understand the entire plot.
slow-paced

3.5! so predictable in the best way. i knew what was gonna happen but i had to know just how!!!!! not the most dynamic or layered characters but that just wasn’t to point. the point was to thrill and i couldn’t put this book down. my only real complaint is that it ended too soon. i wanted to see more resolve and for her to get her glory moment and all his money.
