This was just as amazing as I was expecting. Ember was great. Franco was perfect (is it just me or was he howl-but-not? because *chef's kiss*). I'm not crazy about Cinderella in general but this take was fun. Loved the glamours--wish there'd been more Madam Flora. Would like an Augie short story maybe? That would be vastly entertaining!

A fairytale retelling of Cinderella. It was cute and fun. I really liked the hero.

Okay so I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review!

I read the trilogy where we meet Franco probably a month ago and I adored it! And this follow up book was not a let down at all!! I loved it so much it was so good! Also I’m so excited for the next book with maisie!!! I think that this book is separate enough to where you don’t have to read the preceding trilogy to fully grasp the characters or the story, but it might be helpful for the world building. I also have not read the beauty and the beast retelling that’s the first in this spin off series and I didn’t find I was missing anything from that book (although after meeting it’s characters I do intend to read it). I adore Franco and Ember and I had a pit in my stomach the whole book because of all the tension and secrets. It was very romantic and an amazing Cinderella retelling that I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Most anticipated read of this month. Did not disappoint at all. Ember is so lovable. Franco is hot. The charcater development was immense. It was perfect. The storyline was epic. The writing uff.

The ending was a bit... Hasty. But it got a lot better after like 1 chapter.

This is the best Cinderella retelling I have ever read. Ever. Felt very well balanced and actually a very innovative spin on the classic.

Just like the Wolf and the Selkie books, this was absolutely amazing. Might be my favorite of the first 3. Can't wait to read the next two!

I loved this book! Seeing Ember again made me so happy. I'm not usually the biggest fan of Cinderella retellings but this one was fantastic.
It sent me through so many emotions.
Seeing Lorelei, Gemma, Elliot and Nyxia was very nice. Hearing if Evelyn, Amelie and Marie, knowing Marie is doing well after all the time spanning the books and time skip.
Maddie Coleman proving herself to be the absolute worst from the beginning of the Fair Isle Trilogy all the way through this book too.

It's giving, Cardan Greenbriar. That's all you need to know.

Read this.

A fantasy Cinderella retelling with a stone-cold prince?? I love!

Franco and Ember's banter and chemistry was great even though their love story was kind of insta-love, it's a fairytale. It was meant to be quick and I personally did not mind it.

I am definitely reading the others
