It was good. It helped me understand the character Fudge a little better and it helped me see the bond between Peter and Sheila and Fudge and the bond with the two families. I think it tells how two people who hate each other get to know each other better by sharing a house for three weeks.
I think my kids liked this more than Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing and less than Super Fudge, which was an absolutely perfect reading experience for them. We will definitely be reading Double Fudge soon.

This is a fun book! It’s written for kids, but it’s still an enjoyable read as an adult (reading for my students). There are some jokes written in for the grown-ups that go straight over the kids’ heads lol. One of my favorites that I’ve read with my 2nd graders this year.
Fudge is one of my favourite sweet treats and now it is also one of my favourite book series, with this the fourth entry being a great tale, the sad part is only that the end is in sight and we want more Fudge. Anyway a great read, really engaging, sweet and has the feels, a pleasure to read. Scorecheck - that's 6 Judy Blume now.
