Heartwarming, makes me wish I lived in the era of mixtapes.
This was such a touching memoir. I loved the way he recalled memories, made references to bands and music and even had a few very interesting theories thrown in which gave me a few "woah, never thought of it like that" moments. In particular, Nirvana. I never really thought about what some of the songs were about and it gave me a new perspective.
Renee sounds like she was an amazing person and they were both so lucky to have had the time they did together.
It is not an exciting read, not a lot of action but there is a lot of heart and emotion.

A touching and beautiful tribute to love.
I admit, probably like most of the people reading this book at my age, I read this book simply because Harry Styles recommended it. I figured it would be a guilty pleasure read and I would turn my mind off during it, but I was pleasantly surprised.
A very loving tribute to his late wife. I don't really want to deep dive, as I feel as though I have nothing negative to say and want to leave the TBR's to be pleasantly surprised as I was.

I remember despising this book which was a book club pick.
A heartbreaking story, and probably a must-read for any kind of music-phile, but ultimately a little generic.
