I loved this quirky title and premise and given it was a short, quick read, I decided to give it a whirl. I simply adored this memoir. This is a sitcom comedy writer's (for some rather popular shows)description of her travels in her late 20's and throughout most of her 30's. Basically she had 2 long term boyfriends, was a bit of a commitment-phobe and not ready to settle down and instead after both relationships ended, decided to travel on her down time from writing(it starts with her traveling with friends but she ultimately starts making solo trips, which is something I would LOVE to do). Some may judge her for some of her flings abroad(although one became a bit of an obsession meaning she was really hung up on would they ever make it a real thing), but you know what, she was living her life the way she wanted to and made no apologies for it. I admire her gusto, her zest for life and adventures. Ultimately too, there is a happy ending and the thing I liked the most, throughout all her adventures, she truly found herself and what she wanted from life (and what she didn't). I definitely need to visit some of her travels (I found a website with some of her travel photos and they look AMAZING). I didn't give it five stars because she hints at the end about her first European trip with her first boyfriend and wants to keep those things private, uhh she shouldn't have mentioned that because now I am curious even if she wants to hold those memories close to her. haha I highly recommend this book for those who are looking to find themselves, who love traveling, or who like reading memoirs.

Easy and fun read!
This book was so good I finished it in less than a week and once it was over I stalked the author to see how her story continued to play out. I am SO PROUD OF HER and yet I do not know her. Minus one star for some comments about other cultures that were probably fine to say in 2011 but made me pause with a tiny “yikes” while reading. Still would recommend.
BOOK THE FLIGHT. BOOK THE FLIGHT. BOOK THE FLIGHT. I read this book right after graduating college in Mississippi, as I was missing my semester studying abroad and suddenly saw many of my 22 year old friends getting engaged. This incredibly funny and insightful memoir has become my top gift book to girlfriends who want more than just getting married. Not that anything is wrong with marriage, but it allowed me to realize that I am SO okay with not being married and settled at 25 and instead have a nearly full passport and endless travel stories. All in all, the best travel memoir I've read!
If you’re looking for a memoir about some big life realization or some profound new understanding of the world, this is not your book. This book is a fun, entertaining read about a woman traveling the world and having a good time. It’s funny, honest, and more importantly it advocates for women to do more solo traveling and not feel like they need to wait to find someone in order to explore the world.
I loved reading about the different places she went and the people she met and even wrote down a few of the spots she mentioned to visit myself! I also love her travel tips. Like the list of requirements for a good travel buddy or where to stay to get the most out of your solo trip to meet people.
Overall, this is a lighthearted, funny, easy read. I loved it!

Fun, kinda inspirational memoir for the perennial single LA girls who just wanna travel the world (so me). Now I have like 5 more countries to add to my travel list.
This book was hard for me to read because it made me so nostalgic for my own travels and adventures. It’s hilarious, relatable, and well-written. I would recommend to any young woman to read this book before settling down.
Light, easy to read, hilarious, and inspiring as I embark on my own solo travels across the world. Not life changing, not a "must-read" but very enjoyable and quick memoir about travel lust with a nice, tidy ending.
