leslie hung's art is yet again brilliant and amazing and if possible, even better than the first volume. the story also comes together a lot more in this volume

Confusing and strange, but not compelling enough for me to love it. I DID however love the art style, and the vibrant colours. It was gorgeous to look at, but unfortunately a bit incoherent in plot. The underlying mystery/drama is a great hook, but the story doesn’t give much time to it, more heavily featuring random side characters and b-plots. I’m still unclear on certain characters, certain plot decisions, and even the name of the series (like, I get it, but… why???)

I can’t decide if I’ll read the next one, but I do appreciate the attempts at something unique and fun.
