This was my first age gap trope book, and it’s not for me. Or at least not the way this book portrays it. I hated that he’d known her since she was only 13, it added a huge ick factor and I had to keep ignoring that fact.
But if that wasn’t bad enough, the big reveal of their relationship was so poorly written and then the ending was so rushed I felt like I had whiplash. There was no tension or drama, the whole book is working up to his son finding out and like, nothing happens?! Then the 10 months later was frankly insane.

I feel like it was weird because they knew each other before she was of age, but other than that it was ok. I liked the first book a lot better than this one.

Not as good as the first one. While the dating my kid's best friend was done well, not my cup of tea.

This book was so good, i love a good forbidden romance and best friends dad is so good omg. I honestly dont have much to say about the book except on how much i hate lucas, this man was so annoying omg. From being terrible to raegan and then talking to avery and wes crazy. LIke telling raegan that her sugar daddy knocked her up that is cruel. But avery and wes were so cute, im used to reading books where the guy is super dominate and the girl takes the backseat, but avery fighting for their relationship was so refreshing. Overall, pretty nice book, i just wish wes put his foot down more because im going to be honest, yout grown sons opinion really does not matter
