This was a really great spicy, fast paced, forbidden romance that packed a punch. Beyond that, it had amazing characters with a plot that kept me engaged and invested. QB knows how to write a forbidden, secret romance and this did not disappoint.
Naturally in a book like this, we have an abundance of chemistry, tension and angst but this was done so well you could feel it through the pages. The “f*ck it” moments were everything and the way Theo cares for and shows up for Avery was beautiful. Beyond their physical connection they share something deep and all consuming.

If you’re looking for a book to break a reading rut this is the one! I could not put it down! I shouldn’t be shocked that QB could pull me out of my rut. This book was so good. Forbidden love, age gap, best friends single dad all in one book with spice that is top notch, it’s perfection. Also, Ferris wheels are forever changed for me. I Ate. It. Up. This was the second book I’ve read by Q.B. Tyler and damn she did not disappoint!! Q.B. Is the queen of taboo and spice!! This book is very spicy! I loved Avery and Theo! These two could not stay away from each other! I liked the comparison between Theo’s situation and his reaction to his daughters new relationship! If you are a fan of Q.B Tyler and lots of spice, definitely read this book!

this was NOT for me AT ALL…I mean the spice is good obviously cause it‘s QB but the story did not work for me at all...I didn‘t understand why they were suddenly so obsessed with each other, the story and characters were just kinda bland, there was no depth or connection and I just couldn’t enjoy this at all because I‘m a sucker for friends-to-lovers and felt so fucking bad for Lucas that even the spice couldn‘t save this storyline for me…and then the rushed ending showing him and someone else being a thing?! Absolutely not!! I‘m so mad and disappointed omg…this book is a 1/5, I‘m giving 0.5 extra for Lucas
