Couldn’t get behind storyline of grown-ass man sneaking around with his best friend’s young daughter just because he is attracted to her. There were no feelings established, just sex. Shallow and therefore painful to get through.

Easily one of the top 5 reads for 2023. Q.B is the queen of age gap and forbidden love books. This was my first read of hers and I read it in less than 24 hours. Best Friend’s dad with 20+ year age gap could not be more perfectly written. The banter and spice between Theo & Avery had me eating this up. That Ferris wheel scene will have you grabbing a fan.
DNF … hot garbage. It’s ok to write the same stuff over and over if you’re good at it. Timeline and story inconsistencies took me out of this and even the hot scenes couldn’t pull me back in. And I don’t have the patience for another of her grossly desperate FMCs.
