QB Tyler delivers another steamy, forbidden romance in The Worst Kept Secret, the second book in the Secret series. While these books can be read as standalones, I’d recommend starting with The Season of Secrets for the full experience.

This book follows Theo and Avery in an age-gap, best friend’s dad, and next-door neighbor romance that’s as scandalous as it is addictive. While the setup is a little predictable, I still found myself completely hooked. Theo is the kind of hero QB Tyler writes so well—commanding, protective, and impossible to resist. And Avery? She’s young but determined, and her growth throughout the book made her so much more enjoyable as the story progressed.

I’ll be honest—the first 50 pages gave me the ick a little. But once she got a little older, I was fully invested, and I’m so glad I stuck with it because it only got better from there. The spice definitely added to my enjoyment! While I personally enjoyed The Season of Secrets a bit more, The Worst Kept Secret still delivered everything I love about this author’s writing: high heat, emotional depth, and a relationship you can’t look away from.

If you’re a fan of forbidden, age-gap romances with all the tension and steam, this one’s definitely worth the read!
