I have, admittedly, read very few biographies on the life of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) in English (more so in Urdu), but this one is the best of all. Highly recommended!

I was told this is the best seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and I can easily see it (despite not reading others. The way this was written is so masterfully done and it made me fall in love with the Prophet ﷺ even more.

One of the things I loved about this book was how the author started it way before Hazrat Muhammad's S.A.W birth. He introduced us to his forefathers first.
The author starts the book with an introduction of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) and how he became a father in his late years of age. We gradually get to know about the forefathers of Abd ull-Mutalib, Hashim and Sarah's son, and how they came to be responsible for feeding and watering the pilgrims of Kaba'h.
It was quite interesting to know that Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) was married to only one woman (i.e. Hazrat Khadijah R.A) till her death before he became the prophet. And that he had a dream (twice) about Hazrat Ayesha (R.A) before they got married.
This book is a masterpiece taking us from the Prophet (S.A.W)'s birth, through the great battles he led, his sacrifices, the enmity He (S.A.W) faced from his dear ones, the friends he found in strangers - all because of His (S.A.W) message, till his death.
Its was a journey!
It was my first biography of the last Prophet (S.A.W), but it won't be the last for sure (In Sha Allah).
I had some knowledge about His (S.A.W) life having read The Holy Quran with translation, also Islamic Studies being a compulsory subject for us Pakistanis, but there were still alot of things I had no prior knowledge of before reading this book. I had a great time reading it. Highly recommended to Muslims and Non-Muslims alike.

Overall, an interesting read as the author perfectly balanced out the fact that while Muhammad is a chosen man of God, he is also every bit human with human desires much like the rest of us (hence, one is forbidden to idolise him so much to see or worship him as an equal to the Almighty)! The text is interlaced with Quranic verses so as to get readers to understand their relevance, given the circumstances at the time of their revelations.

Sangat digalakkan buat mereka yang mahu menyegarkan semula kefahaman sirah yang kita belajar sewaktu kecil dulu. Sollu 'ala nabi

Bismillah, Peace be upon The Prophet, Muhammad Sallalahu alaihi wassalam.

This was a very different read than I have had lately. This book is a biography on Muhammad (PBUH), detailing from before his birth, and ending with his departure from this world and his final words and teachings.

Being a Muslim, I was already aware of most of the historical facts, but reading about them in a nuanced context was so refreshing. Specially liked how each important character , the Sahaba Karaam(R.A) were introduced in a character like manner, each having their own stories running through out the book. Reading through the historical facts and stories with their respective backgrounds made so much sense. The author has done a commendable job writing a book like this, which is very easy to understand in pieces, but can get complex in entirety, but that's inevitable, considering the actual richness of Muhammad's (S.A.W) life, which can get books upon books written yet still not be detailed enough ❤️
Overall, a lovely, lovely read. Although this is a very thorough biography, but read it with a pinch of salt in terms of history- the accurateness of facts when it comes to the Prophet(S.A.W) or Islam's early days can only be verified by authentic religious books by religious scholars.
