I firmly believe that you’re either in the Anne of Green Gables camp, or you’re in the Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm camp. I’ll stick to Anne with an e.

Not a bad coming of age story from the 1900s. The characters were likeable but not memorable and I didn’t really feel a connection with any of them. I found that it didn’t really hold my attention and so I became bored.

It's dated. And not something I want to read.

Childhood classic I missed along the way. I would have liked it more in fifth grade. Sweet. Not nearly as rich as the "Anne" series

I was given a picture book version of this as a child, when I discovered that it was based on a novel of course I had to read it. It's taken me a long time to get arround to, I wish it hadn't, I think I would have enjoyed this much more when I was little.
Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm was charming and I enjoyed it a lot! There were some things that I couldn't resonate with... Oh well, I still had a fun time.

Another classic children's book that I have missed until now. I enjoyed the book. There is a resemblance to Anne of Green Gables, which I think is the better of the two, but this is still worth reading.
