This series and the spin off books are absolutely amazing. I'm thrilled, emotional, invested and can't turn the pages fast enough. This writer gives it all! I love this family with all their ups, downs and mistakes. Lukas' story is not to be missed.
Hands down my favorite of the Ashes & Embers series, and definitely right up there with Torn for me! Lukas was AMAZING! He was sweet and sexy, irresistible and such a great guy. I just loved him for all that he was. He was so caring and mature beyond his years, never giving up on Ivy and being persistent when she tried to push him away. My heart absolutely broke for him at times and I felt so bad for him. He deserved every happiness in the world and I felt like he got the short end of the stick way more than he should have. I was so glad with how things turned out though and he is always going to be one of my favorite heroes ever!
I will say that I still want to cut Macy, Ivy's daughter. I can't believe the shit she pulled and I don't know that I'd ever be able to forgive her. I kind of still want only bad things for that one...she deserves it. To do what she did for the reasons she did, to her own mother...yeah she deserves every bit of karma that comes her way.
