Someone hold my ovaries Lukas is the man of Every single moms dream.

Part time rockstar with a heart of gold and a tatoo artist.

When a newly single mom walks into his shop for a tatoo he falls hard and fast but she’s not sure about a younger guy. He does everything right to win her over.

I’m not even all that big on rockstar romance but I’m devouring this series.

I loveeee Lukas. I think he is so sweet <3 There was a lotttt of drama in this one I liked it a lot

I loved the older woman, younger man storyline I hate the insecurity part of it how she dwells on it. Maybe it wasn’t so bad but this female narrator I can’t stand. Sorry not sorry we all like what we like and she just doesn’t do it for me at all. The best part about her voice is her male voice.
The male narrator save the book for me he isn’t always my favorite but he isn’t as bad as the female.
This book follows the same timeline as the last one so we have that hard situation again and that will break you heart.
On to the next!
emotional tense slow-paced

I’m not sure why I skipped this book the first time I read through the Ashes and Embers series but it was a huge mistake on my part. This book might be my new favorite. I loved it so much.

Lukas is perfect. Seriously. Young and hot. Sweet, but with a dark and dirty side. A brilliant artist and musician. Loyal, with a strong devotion to family and commitment. A complete unicorn. Ivy is all of us as she falls for him. The chemistry between them was smoking hot. The drama was a bit soapy though. And I didn’t love having to relive the accident after reading “Vandal.” That part was extra gut-wrenching. I loved this book, but I think I’m going to take a break from the series since that’s three books in a row where the hero has been around the block and the heroine is inexperienced and coming out of a long term relationship. Plus, my emotions need a rest as well after that rollercoaster.
