I loved her two other books and her writing. Disappointed with this. It seemed like a reasonable concept but poor execution. Too many characters to really become connected with any. It was described as a quaint little town but I couldn’t visualize it with the writing. Hope she takes her time with the next.

I could’ve gone with 2 stars but in the end decided on 3. I don’t know why, but this book did nothing for me. This author is hot or miss for me. And this was just kind of in the middle.
This book reminded me a bit of Pleasantville. Good writing, the love story just didn’t grab me. But still worth the read.
